Denver Art Museum's November free day offers a route into three buildings
November 7 is listed as the next free general-admission day, with separately ticketed exhibitions and a Wednesday closure to account for.

An art-museum visit can be shaped by a material, a question or a building rather than a plan to see everything. Denver Art Museum's general admission spans the Hamilton Building, Martin Building and The Kirkland, offering more possibilities than most visitors need to fit into one outing.
The museum's current 2026 schedule lists November 7 as its next SCFD Free Day, followed by December 8. General admission is free for everyone on those dates, while separately ticketed exhibitions remain outside that offer. Young people eighteen and younger receive free general admission every day.
The current opening pattern is six days a week, with Wednesdays closed. Tuesday hours extend from 10 a.m.–8 p.m.; other open days normally run 10 a.m.–5 p.m., with holiday exceptions. Use the museum's current calendar and ticket system to confirm the intended date and any exhibition you specifically want to enter.
Choose a manageable part of the campus for a first visit. Spend time with a work before reading the label, then see which details its context changes. If the free day makes a later return easier, leave something for that return. The distinction between general entry and a ticketed exhibition helps keep both the plan and the cost clear.
